What we collect

When you create an account we collect:

• Your email address
• Your display name
• If you sign in with Google: your Google profile name and profile picture URL
• If you are invited as a guest member: your email address (provided by the household admin)

We also store the data you create while using the app — households, chores, and completion records.

How we use it

We use your data solely to provide the Chorium service. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for advertising. Email addresses provided for guest member invites are used only to send the invite email and are not used for any other purpose.

Where it's stored

All data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Cloudflare D1 / Workers). Cloudflare may store data in data centres across the EU and US. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Cookies

We set a single session cookie when you sign in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the app to function and does not track you across other websites.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from the account settings page. For any other requests, email privacy@chorium.net.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed. Anonymised completion history may be retained to preserve household records for other members.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Chorium after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
